Village Health Works (VHW) is an organization operating in a rural area of southwestern Burundi. The VHW campus features a teaching hospital and a Women's Health Pavilion. The facilities at this campus frequently experience grid power outages and rely upon diesel generators in the absence of grid power. The Sextant Foundation is exploring means to alleviate VHW's reliance on diesel generators through Solar Power.
