Reimagining Racial Justice in Healthcare

Reimagining+ Racial Justice in Healthcare is an innovative workshop for clinicians, designers, and others. We use human-centered design techniques to understand the challenges faced by clinicians and their patients. We also consider issues encountered by those working in public health and by citizens, which are broadly related to structural racism and racial justice.  At the workshop, we’ll conduct empathy interviews with clinicians, patients, community leaders, and public health workers on their experiences with racism and racial justice and how the challenges they face affect their environment and patient outcomes. Then we’ll ideate, prototype, and test simple solutions.
